The Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning (Lexington) invites young women in grades 9-12 to apply to the Young Women Writers Project, a series of intensive workshops focused on self-expression taught by experienced women writers. Six sessions (held on Saturdays during February and March 2018) will incorporate creative writing exercises in a variety of genres. The program also includes a mentoring component for elementary school girls and two optional public readings. Funded by the Kentucky Foundation for Women.
